CENSORSHIP

Censorship was a project where we had to choose a piece of writing to redesign into two different books. I explored the topic of female pleasure using text from Emily Nagoski’s ‘come as you are’ as I felt this was a powerful message that usually is considered taboo in society. The first book was a playful book using images of roller coasters to show adrenaline and excitement. For the second book, I decided to use Images of women and censor their expressions along with using block black colour to censor the ‘Taboo’ words within the text.
